The Texas Tribune is holding a series of events across Texas in June recapping the major policy debates of the 2025 legislative session and what new legislation will mean for communities. Join our conversation with San Antonio legislators on June 18 about the state budget, education, property taxes, water, social issues and more. Texas Tribune Editor-in-Chief Matthew Watkins sits down with Rep. Ray Lopez, D-San Antonio, and Sen.
