The deadline to register to vote is Oct. 7. The last day to apply to vote by mail is Oct. 25. Early voting in person is from Oct. 21 to Nov. 1. Full Story

Lillian Vest was a summer 2024 engagement fellow during her junior year at the University of Texas at Austin as a journalism student. She studied American Sign Language for three years and is a member of the Deaf Culture Alliance at UT.
